In reply to Almira. @Almira, yes the best way is to buy a sim card and load it with a data plan! I had a Turkcell sim card and there were no issues with service when I was there! Only at times when we were on the hiking tour the service was bad as we were surrounded by rock formations. Your hotel should also have good wifi, but having a data plan is the easiest and quickest option when in the city. This way you can use google maps on the go and easily travel from place to place (either by walking or with a taxi). Hope you enjoy your trip :)

Hi! First of all, that is one great article, well done! We are going to Cappadocia in August, and we would love to explore everything, but we don´t actually know what can we use to orientate ourselves, if you know what I mean? Like, I know all about these places and which one of them I exactly wanna visit, but we don´t wanna wander around. Did you use some kind of map or? I am not sure if we are going to have Internet down there, I think the only way is to buy their SIM card and buy some Internet, right? Thanks!
